There are a bunch of ways you can listen to the Country Blend, whether you are at home, in the truck, or even on the tractor. New devices are being introduced daily, and we’re working hard to ensure you can receive us on all of them! So how many ways can you listen to Country Blend?

 Let’s count:

In the Car

Country Blend is built for listening in the truck, car, or any vehicle. Whether it is using Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, or even a cable we’ve got you covered.

Ways to Listen and Connect to Your Devices

Apple CarPlay

Ensure your iPhone is running on iOS 7.1 or higher and your car is compatible with Apple CarPlay.

Connect your iPhone to your car using a lightning cable, or via wireless per your manufacturer’s instructions.

On your car’s infotainment system, select the option for Apple CarPlay.

Once connected, you should see the Apple CarPlay home screen on your car’s display.

To use the Live365 app, open the app on your iPhone, then in the Live365 app, search for Country Blend

Select Country Blend from the search results and listen to the best internet station available.

Android Auto

Ensure your phone is running on Android 6.0 or higher and your car is compatible with Android Auto.

Download the Android Auto app from the Google Play Store on your phone.  Connect your phone to your car using a USB cable.

Open the Android Auto app on your phone and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Once connected, you should see the Android Auto home screen on your car’s display.

To use Android Auto, you must give the app permission to access your phone’s apps and features. You can do this by going to your phone’s “Settings” menu and selecting “Apps.”

From there, find the Android Auto app and select “Permissions.” Allow the app to access your phone’s apps and features, such as contacts, messaging, and location.

You are now ready to use Android Auto. To access it, turn on your car’s infotainment system and select the Android Auto option.

Open the Live365 app on your phone and search for Country Blend.

Select Country Blend from the search results and listen to the the best internet station available.

Bluetooth

Make sure that your car’s Bluetooth is turned on. You can usually find this setting in your car’s infotainment system or by consulting your car’s manual.

Go to the “Settings” menu on your phone and select “Bluetooth.” Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and make sure it is set to “discoverable.”

In your car’s infotainment system, select the option to “search for new devices” or “pair a new device.”

Your phone should appear in the list of available devices. Select your phone and enter the pairing code if prompted.

Once connected, you should be able to make hands-free calls and play music from your phone through your car’s speakers.

Alexa

Make sure your Alexa-enabled device is connected to your home wifi network.

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Open More  and select Skills & Games.
  3. Search for the “The Country Blend”.
  4. Select Enable Skill and choose the devices you want it to work on.
  5. Simply say “Alexa, play The Country Blend.”

Google Home

Open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet.

Tap on the menu button in the top left corner of the screen.

Tap on “Music” to open the music settings.

Under “Services,” tap on “Live365” or “Country Blend” to link your account.

Sign in to your Live365 or Country Blend account and authorize the connection.

Sonos

Open the Sonos app on your smartphone or tablet.

Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Tap on “Services & Voice” to open the services settings.

Scroll down to the “Music & Content” section, and tap on “Live365” or “Country Blend” to link your account.

Sign in to your Live365 or Country Blend account and authorize the connection.

Once your account is linked, you can use the Sonos app to browse and play the radio stations from Live365 or Country Blend on your Sonos speaker.

You can also use voice commands to play the radio stations if you have a Sonos speaker with built-in Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

For example: “Alexa, play Live365 on Sonos” or “Hey Google, play Country Blend on Sonos.” You may need to spell the station name out, such as “Country Blend.”

Live365 App

Download the Live365 app from the Apple or Google stores.

Open the Live365 app and search for “Country Blend.”

Ignore all the other stations. :-)

 

Apple or Androids App

The Country Blend allow you to download our IOS app without the need to go to the Apple Store. Simply follow these directions:

  1. Open your Safari browser (do not use Chrome) and go to
    “thecountryblend.com”
  2. Look for the “Install” button and press it.
  3. The system will then ask you to press a button that looks like a square with an up arrow.
  4.  Scroll to the bottom of that page and press “Add to Home Screen”
